Dispositions in Pike County Court

Milford. Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin has announced the criminal sentences issued on Dec. 3 by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak.

Tony Geronimo Walker, 38, of Milford was sentenced to 96 months to 192 months in a state correctional facility and fined $2,000 for four counts of the crime of Delivery of a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance. Walker sold heroin and fentanyl at various locations in Westfall Township, Milford Township, and Montague, N.J., between Aug. 9, 2019, and Nov. 8, 2019.

Beau S. Becker, 45, of Bushkill was sentenced to 5 years to 10 years in a state correctional facility and fined $1,000 for the crimes of Endangering the Welfare of Children and Corruption of Minors. Between 2016 and February 2018, Becker engaged in illegal activities with a minor child during which he provided controlled substances to the child at a residence in Lehman Township.

Michael J. Vela, 20, of Bushkill was sentenced to 14 months to 5 years in a state correctional facility and fined $1,100 for the crime of Firearms Not to be Carried Without a License and two counts of the crime of Terroristic Threats. The state police were dispatched to a confrontation along Fox Run Road in Lehman Township, where Vela brandished a firearm he was not licensed to carry, with the intent to terrorize two individuals on July 5, 2019.

Robert J. Plate, 29, off Milford was sentenced to 118 days to 23.5 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $1,500 for two counts of the crime of Criminal Conspiracy and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Between Aug. 19, 2019, and Aug. 26, 2019, Plate and his co-defendant conspired to use a credit card to make unauthorized purchases of gift cards from a business in Westfall Township. At another business in Westfall Township, Plate and his co-defendant conspired to purchase gift cards with a credit card he did not have permission to use between Aug. 19, 2019, and Aug. 20, 2019. On Jan. 1, 2020, the state police responded to a residence in Milford Township, where Plate was involved in a domestic disturbance and was found in possession of heroin.

Erik C. Cordova, 34, of Milford was sentenced to 4 months to 12 months in a state correctional facility and fined $300 for the crime of Criminal Trespass. On Jan. 18, 2020, without the owner’s permission, Cordova gained entry into a home along West Harford Street in Milford Borough, and was found asleep on the couch by the residence owner. Cordova is presently serving a sentence in a state correctional facility due to an additional conviction.

Shaemar Xyzphon Dyaram, 21, of Jamaica, N.Y., was sentenced to a fine of $400 for the crime of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana. Dyaram was stopped along Route 6 and 209 in Westfall Township by Eastern Pike Regional Police on July 31, 2020, for failure to stop at two stop signs. When contact was made with Dyaram, the officer detected the smell of marijuana. A consent to search his vehicle revealed marijuana.

Malgorzata Jaroslawska, 59, of Bushkill was sentenced to 11 days in the Pike County Jail and fined $25 for the Summary Offense of Harassment. For the purpose of alarming or harassing an individual at his residence in Lehman Township, Jaroslawska did strike, shove, or kick the individual on June 5, 2020.
