Milford needs Mayor Strub’s energetic and engaging leadership

    To the Editor:

The Milford Journal included an article in its summer 2021 issue about an international cooking project that I helped develop in collaboration with the Pike County Public Library. It was an opportunity for the Pike County community to interact (on Zoom) with others in the county and educators (as chefs) around the world as we cooked together in the kitchens in our homes.

It literally brought the world into the homes of library patrons in Milford. Bringing innovative programs to Milford is a passion of mine.

That is one of the reasons I admire Sean Strub.

As mayor, he has been a successful leader in introducing the borough to new cultural events—bringing the larger world into our community, and at the same time broadening perspectives and enhancing the quality of life in our community.

Milford needs his energetic and engaging leadership as mayor as we begin the process of emerging from life under the pandemic.
