— The Presby Players celebrates Halloween with "Mystery Theater," two spooky one-act plays.
One is based on an old radio play from the 1940s and another based on a episode from the old TV series “The Twilight Zone."
“I adapted the two one-acts to have a sense of humor and be family friendly," said director Jeffrey Stocker.
He said the plays are "spooky" and “a real Halloween trick or treat."
"The ensemble cast are members from my adult acting workshop that have been working for the past 10 weeks to prepare themselves for opening night," he said.
The three performances will be held at Marsh Hall on Sussex Street in Port Jervis:
Friday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m.
The Presby Players is the oldest continuous running community theater in Orange County.
Tickets are $10 and available at the door one hour prior to each show.
