Private William Pearn graduates from Marine boot camp

Private William Pearn, 19, of Shohola graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on Nov. 6, 2015. PVT Pearn successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD Parris Island as one of 89 recruits in Training Platoon 3081. While in recruit training, he qualified as an expert marksman. Following ten days home on leave he reported to Camp LeJeune for two months at Infantry Training Battalion and will graduate Feb. 25, 2016. Following his graduation PVT Pearn will be stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay Hawaii. (Photo provided)
