MILFORD — You may have noticed the dearth of signs showing support for Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton around the area, even as the signs supporting her opponent, Republican Donald Trump, have proliferated.
Reginald Cheong-Leen, who runs Milford Democratic office, said his office put up about 200 Hillary signs some weeks ago, but that they all disappeared.
He said he didn’t know what happened to them.
The office gave them out to people who came to the office to ask for them. The next time they came in, he said, they reported that the signs had disappeared.
He said signs were also given to volunteers and others.
“That’s all I can say,” he said in a phone call. “I cannot say what happened to them.”
He also said the office didn’t care about the signs at this point, with less than a week to go before the election. The campaign was concentrating on getting people out to vote, he said.
