Pike Library now offers curbside pickup

Milford and Dingman. Order your materials online or by phone at either the Milford or Dingman branch.

The Pike County Public Library is now offering curbside pickup at either the Milford or Dingman Township branch. Patrons are asked to return any outstanding items by July 1.

How to place holds online:

• Go to the online catalog at pike.sparkpa.org/eg/opac/home.

• Log in to your account using your library card number and the pin (the last four digits of your library card).

• Search for what you’re interested in. (Even though some items may appear to be available, Wayne County materials are not available at this time.)

• Place the item on hold by clicking the “place hold” button.

How to place holds over the phone:

• Have your library card number ready.

• Request items by title, author, or genre.

• Call your local branch:

Milford, 570-296-8211, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-3p.m.

Dingman, 570-686-7045; Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

• The library will call you to schedule a pick-up time. Regular check-out limits will apply.

How to pick up your items:

• Wear a mask or face covering.

• Come to the library only during your scheduled time slot.

• Park near the rear entrance at Milford or the main entrance at Dingman Township.

• Your items will be in a bag on a table in front of the door, clearly labeled with your first initial and first four letters of your last name. For example, John Smith will be labeled as J. SMIT

• The items will already be checked out to your account, due date slip will be in the bag. Let the library know when scheduling if you would like your materials in a Pike County Public Library tote bag, for an extra $5. Library mugs are $5 each.
