1. Should kids be required to wear masks unless they show a medical exemption?

Due to ongoing litigation, I am unable to comment on masks at this time.

2. Do you think kids are getting too much screen time at school? Explain.

If the kids are in school I hope the screen time is monitored and used when the material is necessary; for example, writing a story or essay or doing research. We can not monitor what happens at home.

3. How can we bring peace back to our teachers and parents?

We need to cooperate with each other and have open, non-confrontational discussion. We need to rebuild trust and believe that we all want what is best for the students.

4. How do we teach our kids what it means to be responsible members of the community?

Our example is the best way to demonstrate responsible citizenship. Being respectful of differing opinions shows our kids that we can work together for the common good. We can model how to care about friends and community, not just oneself.

5. Should schools stick to teaching the standard academic curriculum as it currently exists and leave the rest to parents?

I think teachers do stick with the curriculum but sometimes a topic comes up that needs to be addressed and healthy discussion can lead to better understanding of different points of view.
