Commissioners recognize Correctional Facility

(Milford, PA)— Pike County Commissioners recognized Jonathan Freeswick as Correctional Officer of the Year for 2021 during their June 1 meeting. Warden Craig Lowe of the Pike County Correctional Facility bestowed the honor on Freeswick in conjunction with a proclamation issued on May 11 for National Correctional Officers and Employees Week (May 1-7, 2022).

“I am extremely proud of Officer Freeswick. He has performed his duties in an outstanding manner, demonstrating extraordinary levels of correctional professionalism, job proficiency, and dedication to duty with exemplary diligence,” said Warden Lowe.

“We appreciate Officer Freeswick’s diligence and hard work. We recognize how difficult a job it is, and we are honored to have employees of this caliber serving Pike County,” added Chairman Matt Osterberg on behalf of the Pike County Commissioners.

Officer Freeswick has served Pike County since 2009.
