Pike County Court sentences, April 28

    Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak:

    Mirline Jean, age 21, of Brooklyn, NY, was sentenced to a fine of $100.00 for the Crime of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jean was a passenger in a vehicle which was pulled over by the state police for erratic driving along I-84 in Blooming Grove Township on April 3, 2021. A consent to search the vehicle revealed Jean in possession of Marihuana roaches, a grinder and rolling papers.

    Justin Wayne Cook, age 28, of Milford, PA, was sentenced a fine of $400.00 for the crime of Possession of a Small Amount of Marihuana. Milford Police were dispatched to West Harford Street on October 1, 2020, for a disturbance involving Cook. When contact was made with Cook, he was found in possession of a small amount of Marihuana.
