Video-conferencing the animal kingdom

Mrs. Brown’s third grade participated in a video-conference. According to one of the participants, “That is when several schools see each other and can talk on the TV. It was called Animal Quest. Each school had to choose an animal. Then you give interesting facts about your animal to the other schools without letting them know what the animal is. Everyone takes notes. When all the schools are done saying facts about their animal, you have 25 minutes to study and figure out the other schools’ animals. Our class used books and the Internet. Then you are back on camera! Now each school has to guess the other schools’ animal! Mrs. Browns’s class guessed all 3 other schools’ animals. No one guessed ours. Any class would enjoy this experience.”
