— Lewis Carroll's famous heroine will come to life in a delightful adaptation of the classic Disney film by the Delaware Valley Middle School Drama Club.
The club's fall musical, Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland Jr.,” will take place on Nov. 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.
Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. The ever-curious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the White Rabbit. Her adventures become increasingly more strange as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!
Featuring updated dialogue and new arrangements of such classic Disney songs as “I’m Late,” “The Un-birthday Song,” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.” Disney’s "Alice in Wonderland Jr." is a fast-paced take on the classic tale.
As in years past, the DVMS Drama club will have refreshments available for purchase in the school caféteria, as well as a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds from ticket sales, concession and the raffle will benefit the students who participate in the DVMS Drama Club and for future drama productions.
The production will be held at the Delaware Valley High School Auditorium, Routes 6 and 209 in Milford. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. All tickets are general admission. The public can call 570-296-1835 to purchase tickets or purchase online at https://dvmsdrama.ticketleap.com/alice beginning Nov. 1. Tickets will also be available at the door.
