Gardeners and non-gardeners alike eagerly await the self-guided Secret Garden Tour every summer.
The Milford Garden Club will hold its 27th annual tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 — rain or shine.
Locations of the gardens are “secret” until the day of the tour.
Afterward, stroll around the borough to enjoy the other attractive areas maintained by club members.
Advance tickets are $15. Tickets purchased the day of tour are $20. Children under 12 will be admitted free. No dogs are allowed on this tour.
Tickets are available by credit, debit, or check online at https://bit.ly/2LuVRUg. With the surcharge, tickets are $16.49.
</URL>You can also mail a check payable to Milford Garden Tour to MGC POB 764 Milford, PA 18337 by July 2. Contact Liz at 570-686-1080 for any additional information.
On the day of the tour, tickets may be purchased at Remembrance Place, at Elderberry Alley and West Ann Street in Milford (behind Stroyan Funeral Home); or at the Rotary Circle near the property of the Community House on the corners of Broad and Harford Streets, Milford (at the traffic light — look for a tent).
All ticket purchasers are required to pick up a wrist band and a map at either location in order to take the tour.
The garden club's mission is the beautification of Milford. The Secret Garden Tour is the club's main fundraiser. Proceeds will be used for the many plantings along the borough's streets, entry triangles, and parks.
