— On Jan. 1, Phil Bueki will retire after 16 years as Pike County sheriff. All are invited to join his retirement party on Sunday, Dec. 3, at The Summit Restaurant at MastHope Mountain, 196 Karl Hope Blvd., Lackawaxen.

Bueki has been serving Pike County law enforcement since 1981. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, a graduate of the Act 120 Police Training, Deputy Sheriff’s Academy, State Corrections Academy, and a certified DARE mentor for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

The party costs $50 per person. For more information or to RSVP, call 570-686-2046 or email
