Winter is here and so is the fun, says Settlers Hospitality Group.

The group, which includes The Settlers Inn, Ledges Hotel, Silver Birches Resort and the Hawley Silk Mill, has announced its line-up of events:

Comedy Night comes to The Waterfront at Silver Birches on Friday, Jan. 26, with three New York comedians. Tickets are $20.

Be My Valentine Cooking Class with the Mill Market Bakery will be held in the Boiler Room of the Hawley Silk Mill. Make your own tartlet with the one you love.

Valentine's Dinner Theater at The Waterfront at Silver Birches on Feb. 9, 10 and 11 features the world premiere of,"Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses" the newest play by Michael and Susan Parker, to be performed by the Ritz Company Players.

Romantic Valentine's Day dinner at The Settlers Inn is farm-to-table with a special menu made for two.

Presidents' Day Weekend farm-to-table brunch offered on Sunday, Feb. 18, or Monday, Feb. 19, at The Settlers Inn.

Jazz Supper Club with the Robert Kopec Trio on Feb. 18 at The Settlers Inn and another farm-to-table meal

Ballroom dancing The Waterfront at Silver Birches includes a dance instructor to help with pointers and The Little Big Band playing swing, salsa, cha chas and more. Tickets are $2.

Chili and Wing Cookoff on Sunday, March 4, at the Waterfront at Silver Birches. This family friendly event benefits the Chamber of the Northern Poconos and features the area's best wings and chili. The cost of $20. There will be live music in the pub and a beer tasting on the deck.

A hypnotist show with John Cerbone will have you believing in magic; at The Waterfront at Silver Birches on March 9. Tickets are $20.

St. Patrick's Day brings the "What Do I Cook with all this Beer?" cooking class in the Boiler Room of the Hawley Silk Mill. This new class offers up a four-course dinner and demonstration incorporating St. Patrick's Day beer into amazing food.

Sushi Week at, when Chef Travis will create sushi specials daily March 21-25.

Comedy Night at The Waterfront at Silver Birches, March 23, for $20 a person. An added bonus for comedy night is that if you dine at any of the Settlers Hospitality restaurants the week leading up to Comedy Night you will receive a $5 off coupon.
