Save the date for “State of the County” dinner

    Top policymakers and business leaders from throughout the area will gather at The Pike County Chamber of Commerce for the “State of the County” dinner June 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Woodloch Pines Resort in Hawley.
    The general public is invited to attend and learn firsthand about a number of exciting county goals and updates for 2018 for Pike County.
    The evening will feature updates on economic development, county business and initiatives, education from our three local districts and an update on the local real estate market.
    The featured guest speakers will be Michael Sullivan, executive director of the Pike County Economic Development Authority, Pike County Commissioner Matthew Osterberg, Dr. John Bell, superintendent of Delaware Valley School District, Dr. Jay Starnes of Wallenpaupack Area School District, Dr. Tabitha Bradley, of East Stroudsburg Area School District and Allan Hetkowski, CEO of the Pike/Wayne Association of Realtors.
    All members of the business community and any interested residents are invited.
    If you goTickets are $50 per person and that includes a meet and greet with cash bar, sit down dinner with a choice of seafood, pasta or chicken and the "State of the County" program.
    Several levels of sponsorship opportunities are available ranging from $500 to $2,000.
