Brew, eat and drink to help sanctuary

HAWLEY — Fuel your passion for creating — or just enjoying — a brew while helping Lacawac Sanctuary at its Science of Brewing fundraising event Sept. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the Boiler Room at the Hawley Silk Mill.
There will be tastings by regional brewers, vintners and distillers, food pairings, live entertainment and a cash bar.
