— The Pike County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual installation dinner and general membership meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at The Best Western Inn at Hunt’s Landing in Matamoras.
The chamber will induct new directors and install the new slate of executive officers for 2018. The newly installed president will discuss a new blueprint for community growth, the chamber’s “2018 Commitment to the Community.” This commitment includes a number of actions, including "our vision to identify and pursue partnerships that we believe will provide value to our members and to the business community."
The cost for dinner and dessert is $35 for chamber members and $45 for non-members. The snow date is Jan. 31. For more information or reservations call 570-296-8700 or email info@pikechamber.com.
The chamber's mission is to bring in more business, create better connections, make members' businesses more visible, and develop community leaders. To support these goals, the chamber says it continues to search for ways to provide more complete and up-to-date information, services, and benefits to members and the community.
"Becoming a chamber member will provide an individual or business with benefits and advantages only offered to members," the chamber says. "The annual investments by our members provides the funding necessary to continue and expand the many programs and activities that are designed to benefit local businesses, as well as the community."
