Saving lives: 94 pints collected at school blood drive

MILFORD — Ninety-four pints of blood were collected from students and staff the American Red Cross' blood drive held Jan. 24 at Delaware Valley High School.
This amount has the potential to help up to 282 recipients.
The high school's HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) students worked at various stations at the blood drive. The Warrior Café, the cafeteria staff, the custodial/maintenance staff, hall monitors, and secretaries all worked behind the scenes to make the day successful.
“I am extremely proud of our students and staff for the wonderful turnout we had at the drive," said school nurse Stacey Tidridge.
