The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance's "Weekly Art Challenge" aims to keep everyone creatively connected while we are socially distanced.

This week's art challenge celebrates the arrival of spring. Send the DVAA your spring haiku capturing the essence of the season by sharing and tagging them on Facebook or Instagram. Tag the DVAA at @dvartsalliance and use the hashtags #dvaaartchallenge #creativelyconnected #springhaiku.

Haiku is a three-line poem with seventeen syllables written in a 5-7-5 syllable count, like this one by Patricia L. Cisco titled "Transformation of the Seasons":

Winter fights to stay.

Sweet spring always wins her way.

Flowers bloomed today!

This project is made possible in part by the Arts for Sullivan Decentralization Grants program, a regrant program of New York State Council on the Arts and administered by Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, and the the Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grants program, a regrant program funded by the Sullivan County Legislature and administered by DVAA.
