Wishes come true at 'An Old-Fashioned Milford Christmas'

Milford. The free family-oriented event presented by Milford Tours offered hot chocolate and treats, a crafts station, classic Christmas movies, and, best of all, a one-on-one meeting with Santa.

Santa listened carefully to every child's wish. And the adults made some wishes of their own.

Tim Kelly's Milford Tours made it happen in the Columns Museum's Foundation Room on Saturday. At this year's "Old-Fashioned Milford Christmas," guests helped themselves to the many treats available and visited the popular hot chocolate station. Children created ornaments at the crafts station and placed their creations on the nearby Christmas tree.

Children and adults watched the classic Christmas movies projected on the screen, such as "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," and "Frosty The Snowman" narrated by Jimmy Durante.

The free annual community event attracts children of all ages from around the area. The museum welcomed goodwill donations.
