Pike’s Peek

Congratulations to readers who knew where to find the detail in last week’s Peek.

Pike County Commissioner Matt Osterberg provided the correct answer with some background; he writes: “A view finder located at the end of East Ann Street at the Ethel Noyes Barckley Park. Mrs. Barckley was a leader in Milford Boro, a founding member of the Milford Garden Club and the village improvement association. She was also a woman of artistic ability and her work can be seen in a stained glass window of the Good Shepard Episcopal Church (on the corner of West Catherine and 5th Street). The park’s vista of the Delaware River is spectacular.”

It is indeed.

Others to get it right are Ellen Orben, Doug and Babette Dow, Jerry Petrizzi, all of Milford.
