The Cooperage Project is hosting Baby’s First Rodeo at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. The production curates traveling and local musicians, line dance lessons, and a variety of country western-infused vendors. This event features a headlining performance by country music sweetheart Karen Jonas and an opening act by The Dishonest Fiddlers.
Having released five records and won multiple industry awards, Jonas dazzles in this family-friendly musical with an energy that showcases the chemistry she shares with bandmates.
The Dishonest Fiddlers is a highly revered string band from Pennsylvania’s coal region. The group is led by folksinger/songwriter Dave Brown on guitar/harmonica and features Shawn Caden on mandolin and Jasper Paciotti on upright bass. The band’s unique sound comes from a mixed bag of jug band, bluegrass, and folk music.
Open to all ages, tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. The Cooperage Project is located at 1030 Main St. in Honesdale.
