Learn to make pies from a pie prize-winner

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Good Shepherd Church is sponsoring a “Yes you can....pie making workshop.” Entitled Give Thanks for Pies, blue ribbon winner, Linda Pinto, will guide you through secrets and techniques bakers have relied on to make successful dough, filling and presentation. The workshop includes the history of pies, instruction on techniques, hands-on application and a recipe book. Each participant leaves with their award-winning pie to bake at home.

The workshop takes place on Saturday, November 12, at Good Shepherd Church Hall, at 110 West Catharine Street in Milford. Classes are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Registration is $20 per person and can be reserved by calling the church at 570-296-8123 or emailing office@goodshepherdmilford.org.
