Alison Jean Fitzpatrick

Mrs. Alison Jean Fitzpatrick of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., formerly of Malone, N.Y., died Tuesday, May 11, 202,1 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. She was 67.

She was born March 4, 1954, in Malone, the daughter of James Brown and Constance Safford Brown.

Alison Married Gary Fitzpatrick in Malone on May 15, 1976.

She attended many trade schools along the way, one of which was for medical coding.

Alison worked for Pan American Airlines as the senor tariff specialist.

A family statement read: “She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Alison loved all animals, especially cats. She was always willing to bring in any stray that crossed her path, nursing them back to health and giving them a loving home with her and her family. She always found that animals brought her comfort and truly relished in the companionship she found in them. Apart from her husband and her beautiful family, Alison’s pride and joy was building her “forever home” with her husband, Gary in Dingmans Ferry. She was delighted to be able to retire in the beautiful and calming countryside with the love of her life.”

Surviving are her loving husband of 45 years, Gary Fitzpatrick, at home; sons, Jeremy Fitzpatrick and his wife, Kristen, of Matamoras, Pa., and Sean Fitzpatrick of Dingmans Ferry; her parents, James and Constance Brown of Malone; her brother, Evan Brown, and his wife, Heidi, of Florida; and her loving grandsons, Zachary and Declan

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be planned at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, Pa.

Funeral arrangements are by the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Port Jervis.
