Allan Rudd Hendee Jr.

Allen Rudd Hendee, Jr. of Lords Valley, Pa., passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021 at home. He was a retired Commercial Banker for First Fidelity, Newark, NJ. Allen was a U.S. Army veteran and retiring as a Colonel from the U.S. Army Reserves.

Son of the late Allen Rudd Hendee and Hazel (Smith) Hendee Sr., he was born June 5, 1939 in Rutland, Vt. He married Sally (Quinn) Hendee on Sept. 27, 1980. in Pompton Plains, N.J.

Allen is survived by his wife, Sally; daughter, Heather Strasser of Hawley, Pa.; son, Christopher Gray and his wife, Meg, of Bloomingdale, N.J.; and grandchildren, Austin Strasser, Sarah Gray, and Alexandra Gray.

Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford, Pa., on Nov. 21, followed by funeral services with the Rev. Butch Gilpin officiating. Burial was to take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Rutland, Vt., privately at the convenience of the family.
