Christopher Anderson of Milford, Pa., passed away at home on Saturday, June 5, 2021. He was 59.

Son of the late Clifford H. and Mary (Penfield) Anderson, he was born on Dec. 24, 1961, in Pompton Plains, N.J.

He was an arborist as well as the owner of a landscape design and construction company. Chris had a huge impact on each and every person he met. Everyone who met Chris was better off for having done so. He was thoughtful, generous and selfless. He made you feel welcome, special, loved, and understood. He truly listened which is indeed a rare gift. We, his many friends and family, will strive to continue his legacy of kindness.

Chris loved everything related to outdoors - nature, gardening, hiking, swimming, biking, running. He ran seven marathons, countless half marathons, triathlons and a half iron man. Chris was president and co-brother of the year of the Beta Pi chapter of Omega Gamma Delta in 1980. He served as grand president of the national organization and received the organization’s highest honor of exalted chapter member in 1989.

Chris was a lover of music, all kinds, all the time. His life was an ongoing symphony of music that will always echo in our hearts.

Christopher leaves behind his wife, Karen (Rogers) Anderson; children, Richard Anderson, Andrew Anderson, Ashley Ruiz, Nicole Burgner, Casey Lawlor, Madelyn McKinney and Michaela Lawlor; brother, Clifford P. Anderson; sisters, Mary Beth Robbins and Helen Jean Maikath and grandchildren, Juliana, Isabella, Colin, Henry, Talia and Rylynn.
