Our beloved Daniel A. Yalango passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at Belle Reve Senior Living Center, Milford, Pa. Danny was 68.
Son of the late Margaret (Semerad) and Daniel B. Yalango, he was born on March 30, 1951, in Manhattan, N.Y.
Danny grew up in Great Kills, Staten Island, N.Y., in a boisterous house with his five brothers. He developed a strong love of music early and played guitar, drums and sang in a band with his friends. He continued to always entertain and delight everyone around him with his singing and playing air guitar.
Daniel worked as a stockbroker in Manhattan and later became vice president of First Albany in Albany, N.Y.
Danny was a loving father, brother and friend. He leaves behind his children, Daniel Yalango and his wife, Caitlin, and Lauren Grant and her husband, Christopher; grandchildren, Madison and Cameron and brothers, Peter Yalango and his wife, Jeanine, Michael Yalango, Richard Yalango and John Yalango and his wife, Tara. He was preceded in death by his brother Gregory Yalango.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 9 to 10:15 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at St. Patrick’s Church, 111 East High St., Milford, PA 18337 with Msgr. Carroll officiating.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, N.Y.
