On Monday, July 17, 2023, Deacon Brian R. Drury was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

The son of John and Ruth (Grogan) Drury, Brian was born on July 3, 1944, in Morristown, New Jersey.

On June 8, 1968, Brian had married the love of his life, Kathleen (Romaine) Drury.

He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and wanted to spread his word with all he could. In 1988, Brian had become an ordained Deacon in Paterson, New Jersey.

Upon moving to his home in Milford, Pennsylvania, Brian had become a Deacon for the Saint Vincent de Paul Church. He provided services for those in need, whether it was celebrating baptisms or assisting with the ceremonious send off a loved one to their eternal rest in the kingdom of Heaven. Brian had served as a Deacon for the past 15 years, up until his passing.

When he was not serving his position as a Deacon, Brian worked as a machinist for the Nymar Corporation in Randolph, New Jersey.

He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus in Dover, New Jersey.

He was an avid New York Giants and New York Mets fan. In his free time, Brian enjoyed reading.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Kathleen Drury; children Elizabeth Drury, Michael Drury and his wife Laura and Kevin Drury; and grandchildren Catherine Drury, James Drury, Francis Drury, Chenoa Drury and Brian Drury.

He was preceded in death by his brother John Michael Drury.

Visitation for family and friends was held July 20 and 21 at the Saint Vincent de Paul Church, 101 St. Vincent Drive, Milford.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated later on July 21 with the Rev. John Boyle officiating.

Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Deacon Brian R. Drury to the Saint Vincent de Paul Sharing Fund, 101 St. Vincent Drive, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337.
