Ethan Allen Turner of Milford, Pa., passed away peacefully at his home on June 3, 2023, with his family by his side. He was 81 years old.

The son of Richard Allen and Esther (Brotman) Turner, Ethan was born Nov. 25, 1941, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He graduated from West Hempstead High School on Long Island in 1960. He lived in New York for many years but moved to Milford, Pa., in 1990. Ethan was a graduate of NYU, taught Graphic Arts to people with disabilities for 20 years and owned his own printing business.

However, his life’s passion was for classic, antique automobiles (which, if you knew Ethan, is quite the understatement). Ethan had his own classic car restoration business. He bought, sold, appraised, restored, judged and loved so many beautiful cars in his lifetime.

Ethan was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA), Greater New York Region as well as the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Club (ACD) for more than 50 years. Ethan was a Cord Technician and Historian and became President of the ACD Club in 1983. For his lifelong commitment and vast knowledge, Ethan was honored with the ACD Man of the Year award in 2011.

Aside from his cars, Ethan was an avid baseball fan, originally cheering for the Brooklyn Dodgers until they moved to LA and then onto the New York Yankees. Ethan loved 50’s Rock ‘N’ Roll music and was a great dancer.

Ethan will be sadly missed by his children; Lisa Turner of Queens, N.Y.; Jason Turner, his wife Julie and their children Owen and Landon, all of San Diego, California; and Ashley Richelson and her husband Jason of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Ethan’s sister Diane Turner of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, and brother Craig Turner and his wife Rosemarie of Johns Creek, Georgia. Ethan was the uncle to Julie Kuennen, Ron Fox, Matthew, Christopher and Nicholas Turner.

He was predeceased by his sister Beverly Fox and her son, Jeffrey Fox.

A memorial service will be held at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, on Saturday, July 29, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Keith Raser officiating.
