Evelyn M. Hawkes of Matamoras, Pa., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation, Westfall Township, Pa. She was 94.
Daughter of the late Karl and Magdalene (Petrick) Gorzolka, she was born on Sept. 6, 1926, in New York, N.Y.
She worked as a seamstress for American Silk Label and worked as a day care provider at Olympus Gym. Evelyn was a member of the Milford United Methodist Church, Milford, Pa.
Evelyn leaves behind her children, Joseph Hawkes, Richard Hawkes, Magdalene Shear and Thomas Hawkes.
Services are private at convenience to the family.
