Genevieve Puzio of Milford, Pa., passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020. She was 95.
Daughter of the late Michael and Frances (Tabor) Bogacz, she was born on Jan. 5, 1925, in Center Falls, R.I., and moved to Paterson, N.J., at a young age. She later settled in Clifton, N.J., after marrying the late Joseph J. Puzio. She was married to Joseph for 66 years.
She was a member of St Paul’s Church and its Leisure Club. Genevieve worked for New Jersey Telephone Co., Garden State Credit Bureau, and T.R.W. Credit Data.
Genevieve moved to Milford in 2017 to live with her daughter, Patricia Puzio Balavender.
Her devoted companions, Durango, Bianca, and Honey Bee will miss her terribly as well as her best friend of 53 years, Esther Kenney of Clifton, N.J.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Puzio Balavender of Milford, Pa.; son, Thomas Puzio and his wife, Rosemarie, of Pequannock, N.J.; grandchildren, Thomas Jr. and Candace of Pequannock, N.J., and Lauren Puzio Camporini, and her husband, John; great-grandson, Luca and their fur baby, Lola, from Pompton Lakes, N.J.
Her brothers, Fred and Erwin Bogacz, both pre-deceased her.
Cremation was private at convenience to the family.
