Gero Hans Grohs

Gero Hans Grohs of both Milford, Pa., and Leesburg, Fla., peacefully passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, in Leesburg, Fla. He was 85

He was born in Kiel, Germany, to parents Hans Friedrich Grohs and Elma Hansen Grohs. He immigrated to America in 1953.

He worked for Tiffany & Co. as a Master Silversmith for 38 years. He worked on the NFL Vince Lombardi trophy (Superbowl Trophy), the Stanley Cup, the NBA trophy, President Kennedy’s Profile and Courage Award, The Breeders Cup, and many other prestigious works of art.

Gero was a devoted husband to his wife of 56 years, Gloria Peruzzi Grohs, and a loving father to his two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Poole-Williams, Raymond Williams, Lorraine Grohs and Robert Ogden.

His love for boating, camping, worldwide travel, music, art, inventing, humor and the simple pleasures in life will forever be remembered by those he touched.

A memorial service in Leesburg, Fla., and Milford, Pa., will be arranged at a future date.
