Joan Patricia Mihalik of Milford, Pa., formerly of Maywood, N.J., Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Moonachie, N.J., passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. She was 85.
Daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Brady) Mazzilli, she was born March 18, 1934, in Jersey City, N.J. Joan was married to the late Andrew Mihalik.
She was a retired secretary for AIWA, Moonachie, N.J., and enjoyed the casinos at Atlantic City.
Survivors include her sons, Peter Mihalik and wife, Kelly, of Lords Valley, Pa., and Andrew Mihalik and wife, Kathie, of Paramus, N.J.; daughters, Gail McCaroll and partner, Frank Pauza, of Southbury, Conn., Patricia LaPolt and husband, Kevin, of Frisco, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 9 grand-crandchildren; and brother, Edward Mazzilli.
She was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine Yaldizian.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church, Lords Valley, Pa. on March 18, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Casey officiating.
