John Longendorfer of Milford, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, Pa. He was 90.

Son of the late John Earl and Mildred (Selke) Longendorfer, he was born on April 1, 1930, in Camden, N.J. He was married to Lillian (Hynes) Longendorfer, DO.

He was the founder of the Golden Fish Gallery in Milford and a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, having served in the Korean War.

John was an award-winning artist having won the Chelsea Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy Art. He was a former member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the oldest art club in America, a member of the Port Jervis Masonic Lodge and the American Legion in Milford.

John leaves behind his wife, Lillian Longendorfer, DO, and son, Edwin C. Longendorfer.

Visitation was held March 22 at Stroyan Funeral Home, Milford. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on March 23. Burial was Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa.
