Lois M. Kampka Nagy

    Lois M. Kampka Nagy of Dingmans, Pa., formerly a longtime resident of Matamoras, Pa., died on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, in Morristown, N.J. She was 71.
    Daughter of Hilary H. and Catherine Carter, she was born on Jan. 31, 1945, in Marshall, Va.
    She retired as an assembler from Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis. She was a certified nurse's aide and worked for Golden Acres Senior Care in Matamoras and as a private health care giver for many years. She was working presently at Alliance Adult Health Care in Matamoras.
    She was a member of the Wickham Methodist Church in Port Jervis and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Rosa-Fleming V.F.W. Post #161, Port Jervis.
    She married Donald Kampka, who pre-deceased her. She then married Peter Nagy, who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters Sherri Somarelli and husband, Frank, of Huguenot, N.Y., and Luanna Sauschuck and husband, Mitchell, of Huguenot; son, Joseph Kampka of Matamoras, Pa.; sisters, Betty Jean Sexton and husband, Joseph, of Port Jervis, Rachael Talmadge of Port Jervis, and Dorothy Simkins of Longmont, Colo.; brother, George Carter of Matamoras; grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Tiffany, Amber, Sydney, Carson, and Riley; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Addison, and McKenna; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was pre-deceased by her brother Frank Carter, sister Margaret Mapes, brother-in-law Edward Talmadge, and niece Tammy Sexton.
    Visitation was held Nov. 14 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Port Jervis. Funeral services followed at the funeral home. The Rev. V. Jean McBryde officiated. Interment followed at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, N.Y.
