Melody Ann Berryhill of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., passed away on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at home. She was 56.
Daughter of Lonnie Berryhill and Caroline (Coutant) Barnes, she was born October 14, 1963, in Newark, N.J.
She was an assistant manager for Cactus Jacks and Golden Skillet in Hackettstown, N.J. Melody was a volunteer for the Library at Akenac Park, Dingmans Ferry. This was her number one dream job, as reading was Melody’s favorite hobby. Melody was a graduate of Hackettstown High School 1983 and was very active with the track and cross-country teams.
Survivors include her husband, Jonathan Voigt; sons, Brian Berryhill and Kyle Berryhill; daughter, Sarah Berryhill; stepdaughter, Kimberly Voigt; sisters, Carolee Marr, Debra Carpenter, Edith Dayton, and Tammi Abrahams; and brother, Bud Berryhill.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Dingmans Ferry, on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Joseph Veres officiating. Eulogies will be given by the family.
