Patricia Marie “Pat” O’Donnell, of Newton, NJ, formerly of Acworth, GA, passed away at Newton Medical Center on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the age of 86. Pat was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 14, 1935 to the late James and Helen Fitzgerald (nee Gearin).
Pat worked in sales for several years at Nesor Alloy in Fairfield, NJ. She drove for Jordan Bus Company transporting handicapped children, which she really enjoyed. After retiring to Georgia, Pat and her husband Jim loved to travel the world, Alaska, Australia and many wonderful cruises to various islands.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 40 years, James O’Donnell, her two sons Thomas and James Quigley, stepson Brian O’Donnell, brother William and sister Maureen.
Pat is survived by her beloved daughters, Laura (Doug) Simcoe, Lynne (Chris) Schipper, and Susan (Joe) Galluccio and stepson James O’Donnell; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, brothers, James, Richard and Michael Fitzgerald and sister Gina Gladu.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
