Philip J. Rappa

Philip J. Rappa of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Newton Medical Center, Newton, N.J. He was 70.
Son of the late Anthony and Margaret (Barisiano) Rappa, he was born on Oct. 1, 1947, in Syracuse, N.Y.
He was a sales representative for Lucent Technologies in Piscataway, N.J.; member of the St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, Pa.; and a U.S. Vietnam Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis (Lomino) Rappa of Dingmans Ferry; daughters, Jennifer Sullivan of Fanwood, N.J., and Allison Van Jahnke of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; brother, John Rappa of Dingmans Ferry; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Stroyan Funeral Home in Milford on July 8. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 9 at St. Patrick’s Church in Milford with the Rev. Joseph J. Manarchuck officiating.
Burial was in Delaware Cemetery, Dingmans Ferry.
