It is with great sorrow that the family of Therese L. Marczyk reports her passing on March 21, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital, Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Therese was a dedicated surgical technician, using her skills to help others in their time of need. Her compassion and kindness touched the lives of many patients and colleagues throughout her career.

The daughter of the late Norbert and Rosa Kafka, Therese was born on September 26, 1952, in Stolarzowice, Poland. In 1972, Therese married Michael, the love of her life, and together they raised two wonderful children.

After moving to America, Therese and Michael established residence in West Milford, New Jersey, where they lived up until his passing in 2020.

Therese will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family. She had a passion for spending time with her friends, who became like family to her. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

For the past year of her life, Therese truly found Jesus. Her faith in God increased to higher heights than she had ever experienced and found a joy and peace in her faith as well as a love for God and her church, that brought her so much joy, peace and comfort. She was very comforted in her last days, in her strong conviction in Jesus’s death, his burial and his resurrection, and knowing that he is the resurrection and the life, and that she would now be joined to him for all of eternity.

She will be deeply missed by her children, extended family, and friends. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Nicol Lynch; son Christopher Marczyk and his wife Grace; grandchildren Gianna, Haley, Ryan, Abigail, Sabryna, and Lorelei; as well nieces, nephews, and a large host of friends.
