William O. Carpenter of Shohola, Pa., passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, N.Y. He was 79.
Son of the late Jesse and Johnnie Grace (Hunter) Carpenter he was born December 20, 1940 in Boynton, OK. He was married to Pa.tricia (Kubik) Carpenter on June 28, 1975 in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.
He was a retired factory worker for Elmhurst Dairy, Jamaica, N.Y. He was an avid hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association.
William leaves behind his wife, Patricia; son, Jesse Carpenter and his fiancé, Sandy Scoble; daughters, Lori Gilham and her husband, Matt, and Krista Demeny; grandchildren, Ariana and Mark VanSpronsen, Kiley Gilham, Kelsey Gilham, Makayla Lynn Carpenter, Natalie Marie, Addison Elizabeth, and Kodi Drew; and sister Avo Guerino. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Lou.
Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, Pa., on Friday, March 13, from 12 to 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on March 13, 2020, at 2 p.m. with Pa.stor Eddie Pinero officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Township, Pa.
