Honesdale. SEEDS (Sustainable Energy Education and Development Support) recently celebrated its most successful free book swap in the event’s eight-year-history. The event at the Park Street Complex in Honesdale achieved its highest numbers ever, with more than 22,000 books donated, sorted, and made available free to readers who thronged the tables. More than 12,000 books were rehomed in Wayne and Pike counties in PA and Sullivan County in NY. Leftover books were shipped to Better World Books to be donated across the globe.
