Milford. The Pike County Commissioners on June 16 unanimously approved revisions to the Covid-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program (CHIRP) grants that it awarded to businesses affected by the pandemic.

Dimmick Inn, Mel’s, and the Promised Land Inn were awarded $50,000. Rodeway Inn and Milford Motel were awarded $35,000.

“The reason this was revised was because there was a reallocation of some funding,” said commissioners chair Matt Osterberg.

Dimmick, Mel’s, and Promised Land were originally allocated $45,000 and the Rodeway Inn and the Milford Motel were originally allocated $20,000.

Osterberg said there were some changes in business ownerships, and that some of the awards were reallocated to get more money to them.
