Funds available for exterior building improvements

The PA Route 6 Facade Program in the Pocono Mountains will award grants of up to $5,000 (with one-to-one matching funds required) to Wayne and Pike County commercial building owners or businesses and nonprofits with property-owner approval, for the completion of updates and improvements to the facades of commercial buildings throughout the communities of the two-county region.

Eligible improvement projects may include, but are not limited to, exterior painting, new signage, and canvas awning replacement.

More information can be obtained at a meeting at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 18, at Historic Forest Hall, located at 214 Broad St. in Milford Borough.
