Milford. Annette Petry (right), president of the Wayne Pike Adult Literacy Program board, is pictured accepting a $3,000 grant from the Greater Pike Community Foundation's Richard L. Snyder Fund. The money will support the program's mission to provide literacy tutoring to local residents. The Greater Pike Community Foundation was created to enable generous individuals, families, and local businesses to maximize their charitable support through organized, targeted community philanthropy. Donors can establish a “named” endowment fund with an initial gift of as little as $1,000 or make a gift of any size to any of the existing funds targeted to specific needs and opportunities.
