American Scholastic Press Association gives DVHS best high school newspaper award

Milford. The American Scholastic Press Association named Delaware Valley High School’s student-run newspaper, The Del.Aware, the best high school newspaper that prints nine-plus issues during a school year. The Del.Aware is in the 1,001-1,700 student category, which is based on students in enrolled in the high school alone. This is the first time the newspaper has won the overall best newspaper in this specific national competition.The 2020 ASPA newspaper judge wrote, “You have an excellent newspaper, which shows the creativity and journalistic knowledge of your editors, reporters, writers, photographers, layout/graphics designers and adviser.”
