Dispositions in Pike County Court

Milford. Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced the criminal sentences issued on March 22 by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak.

Adam A. Perez, 28, of the Bronx, N.Y., was sentenced to 26 months to 72 months in a state correctional facility and fined $800 for the crimes of Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Corruption of Minors and Terroristic Threats. Perez communicated with a minor at her residence in Dingman Township through the use of the internet and cellular phone from Sept. 2017 through Nov. 2017, for the purpose of developing a relationship and engaging in sexual communications. Perez solicited nude images from the minor and threatened violence to the minor and the minor’s family, placing them in terror.

Chris A. Crawford, 60, of Hawley, Pa., was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. The state police stopped Crawford on Feb. 17, 2020, for speeding along SR 402 in Blooming Grove Township. Upon speaking with Crawford, the trooper detected the smell of marijuana. Crawford admitted to smoking marijuana. Field sobriety tests showed impairment and a blood test confirmed the presence of THC in Crawford’s body.

John P. Angelillo, 42, of Greentown, Pa., was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. The state police stopped Angelillo on May 21, 2019, for an expired registration when traveling along SR 507 in Greene Township. The trooper detected the smell of marijuana when speaking with Angelillo, who admitted to smoking and being in possession of marijuana. Field sobriety tests showed Angelillo to be impaired, and a blood test confirmed the presence of THC in his body.

William Roger Ishman, 37, of Canadensis, Pa., was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance. The state police stopped Ishman along Bartleson Road in Palmyra Township on Sept. 9, 2019, for a loud exhaust system. Ishman revealed that he had smoked marijuana and was in possession of marijuana. Field sobriety tests showed impairment, and a blood test confirmed the presence of THC in his body.

Shemar Devaughn McClue, 22, of Bushkill, Pa., was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $500 for the crime of Neglect of Animals. Between October 2019 and November 2019, McClue neglected an animal at a residence in Lehman Township.

Amanda Rae Barry, 29, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., was sentenced to 30 days to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $750, and had her driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence. On Sept. 28, 2019, the state police responded to SR 402 in Porter Township, where Barry was involved in a one-vehicle crash. Barry admitted to drinking alcohol prior to driving. A blood test confirmed a blood-alcohol content of 0.147% in her body.

Jason Tyler Brighton, 21, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to 3 months to 18 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $400 for the crime of Simple Assault. Brighton caused injury to an individual by punching and kicking him on Nov. 20, 2018, at a hotel in Westfall Township.

Ryan Patrick Bannon-McNeil, 25, of Kearny, N.J., was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000, and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for the crime of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance. The state police encountered Bannon-McNeil in his vehicle parked along Whittaker Road in Porter Township on Oct. 6, 2018, and checked to see if he was in need of assistance. Bannon-McNeil was observed to be disoriented with bloodshot eyes and droopy eyelids. The trooper detected the smell of marijuana and conducted Field Sobriety Tests. Bannon-McNeil exhibited several signs of impairment. A consent to search revealed marijuana and Xanax. A blood test was conducted which confirmed the presence of Alprazolam and THC in his body.
