Milford. Lindsey Toomer, a Delaware Valley High School graduate and journalist, met with Mrs. Leslie Lordi’s Journalism I students via Zoom on March 16. The students, who are learning skills in note-taking and asking follow-up questions in this unit, prepared questions for Toomer beforehand and took turns asking them. Toomer recently took a job as a reporter for The Denver Gazette in Denver, Colorado, where she covers crime and local government. She was a former editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, the Del.Aware, and the managing editor at Penn State University’s The Daily Collegian.
