Eighth graders sweep state radon poster contest

Dingman. Three students in Mrs. Gregorski's eighth-grade class at Dingman-Delaware Middle School won the top three slots in the statewide contest.

Mrs. Gregorski's eighth-grade class at Dingman-Delaware Middle School participated in the the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Radon Poster Contest. Three of the students swept the competition.

The winners are:

First place: Brandon Maros-Moran won a $100 Amazon gift card

Second place: Youngeun Eunice Choi won a $75 Amazon gift card

Third place: Anya Norwoodwon a $50 Amazon gift card

All the students who participated in the contest won radon test kits.

Brandon’s first-place poster will be entered into the National Radon Poster Contest, which is sponsored by the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD).

The CRCPD will announce the first, second, and third place winners of the National Radon Poster Contest in January 2020, and there will be a monetary prize awarded to each of the winners.
