1. Should kids be required to wear masks unless they show a medical exemption?

The Delaware Valley School Board Directors cannot answer any questions regarding masks at this time due to litigation.

2. Do you think kids are getting too much screen time at school? Explain.

Screen time at our schools is a tool to supplement and complement our curriculum. Our excellent educators use it accordingly.

3. How can we bring peace back to our teachers and parents?

Even if our opinions and views differ, we must treat each other with respect and kindness.

4. How do we teach our kids what it means to be responsible members of the community?

We teach our children to be responsible members of our community by leading by example, being involved, and giving back to the community we all love. My children have seen my dedication to the community and they in turn give their time to help others. My oldest son loves volunteering to coach a youth soccer team and gives up every Sunday to help our community.

5. Should schools stick to teaching the standard academic curriculum as it currently exists and leave the rest to parents?

I believe our schools should be teaching a strong curriculum tailored to the needs of our children’s future and society. A broad-based learning experience should also include career and technical education, the arts, and music. Our children’s core values are the parent’s responsibility and have already been instilled by the time they begin their formal education and throughout their childhood.
