Milford. For the first time in more than 20 years, Grey Towers National Historic Site in Milford won’t be opening the mansion doors for public tours on Memorial Day weekend. All June events and programs have been cancelled or postponed to comply with federal, state, and local guidance to ensure the health and safety of its employees, visitors, and volunteers. The grounds have been open to pedestrians throughout the COVID-19 crisis, providing a peaceful and inspirational location for people to walk, get some fresh air, and enjoy the landscape. Visitors are urged to follow all CDC guidelines, including social distancing, wearing a mask and other precautions. No restroom facilities are available at this time. For updates, visit greytowers.org or call 570-296-9630.
